The Nature Of The Christian Business

The Christian Business is a replica of the Jesus Enterprise.

The Jesus Enterprise, the group that He brought together to “preach the Gospel” [Mark 16:15 KJV – King James Version], has a very simple structure.

It has Jesus as the Leader.  And, all the Apostles as Followers.

This is how the Christian Business must be structured, also.

Jesus as the Leader.  And, everyone in the Christian Business as Followers.

But what about the Owner/the Entrepreneur/the CEO – is s/he not the Leader?

In the Capitalist sense – yes.  In the Christian sense – no.

No Christian can have a man, any man, whether King, or President, or CEO, or Business Owner, as their Leader. 

Only Jesus can be a Christian’s Leader.  And, they are His Followers. 

Yes, for Capitalist-Corporate Legal reasons, for external, Secular, purposes a Christian Business will have a Leader.

But, operationally, internally, a Christian Business is far different.

It is not a Secular organization. 

It is a Spiritual entity.   

A Spiritual entity, just like the Jesus Enterprise.

Wherein the Apostles were all Equal before Jesus, the Lord their God.  [Peter’s disputed Primacy will not being debated here.]

So, also, in the Christian Business, all – Owner and Employees – are Equal before the Lord.

Before the Lord there is neither Mail Room Clerk nor Machine Operator, there is neither Supervisor nor Manager, there is neither Vice President nor Business Owner: for in the Christian Business all are one in Christ Jesus.

And, all, in perfect Christian Equality, and on the basis of Christian Love, make decisions about the Christian Business’ current operations and future directions.

So that in all that they do the Lord may be Honored and Glorified.

And, in this, the Christian Company is different from the Capitalist.

A Capitalist Company idolizes Man.  A Christian Company magnifies the Lord.
